Serving as a major league manager during 2004 was Lloyd McClendon (Kappa Alpha Psi) of the Pirates. Greeks who were coaches on big league clubs include Mike Aldrete (Delta Tau Delta) of the Mariners; Orel Hershiser (Sigma Phi Epsilon) of the Rangers; Jim Hickey (Phi Sigma Kappa) of the Astros (last half of season); Burt Hooton (Kappa Alpha Order) of the Astros (first half of season); Lynn Jones (Alpha Chi Rho) of the Red Sox; Art Kusnyer (Phi Gamma Delta) of the White Sox; and Bob Schaefer (Theta Xi) of the Royals. The Commissioner of baseball is Bud Selig (Pi Lambda Phi).
