NIC Recognition Programs
NIC Award of Distinction
Those chapters and individuals who have been recognized by their campus peers and especially by their inter/national organizations are examples of nominees we hope of recognize with the NIC Award of Distinction.
The NIC Awards of Distinction will be awarded at the 2010 Annual Meeting in four categories
The Undergraduate Award of Distinction seeks to recognize the fraternity man who has found in his experience an outlet for developing as both a leader and a better man. The recipient(s) will strive to embody the values of his fraternity and will expect the same from those with whom he associates.
The Chapter Award of Distinction recognizes the undergraduate chapter which is highly functioning, in compliance with NIC Standards, seeks to educate others about the benefits of a values based fraternity experience, and works to maintain a healthy relationship with their inter/national organization.
The Alumni Award of Distinction recognizes the fraternity man who has given specifically of his time, talents, and service to the betterment of the fraternity. The service can be given at the local, regional, or national level.
The Council Award of Distinction is given to the Interfraternity Council which operates in full compliance with NIC Standards and works to maintain an environment on their respective campus which is conducive to the success of member chapters.
In order to submit a nomination for the NIC Awards of Distinction please send materials supporting the candidate(s) and a letter endorsing the nomination from the Inter/National organization to NIC Headquarters.
