Coalition Assessment Project
Client and Team Testimony
"Our goal was to receive an objective review of our fraternity/sorority community in order to better understand our strengths and even more so our opportunities. Through two days of non-stop interviews, the assessment team truly heard what was being shared by the various stakeholders who participated in the assessment interviews. The final report was delivered on time and captured the essence of the Auburn University fraternity/sorority community. The honest, frank, and pragmatic observations and recommendations in the report will allow us to work with our multiple stakeholders to affect positive change in our fraternal community. It will guide us in planning for the future of our fraternity/sorority community and ensure that it complements and enhances student life, adds value to the academic experience, and continues to provide a venue for personal growth and development.
Having participated in the Coalition Assessment Project, I would recommend that every fraternity/sorority community schedule an assessment visit. I can say, without reservation, that the Auburn fraternity/sorority community will schedule another Coalition Assessment visit in the next five years."
-- Paul R. Kittle, Jr., Director of Greek Life, Office of the Dean of Students, Auburn University
"When the opportunity to assess Greek Life presented itself, The University of Michigan-Flint did not think twice. We believed that strengthening Greek Life would benefit the campus in numerous ways including increased freshman yield, improved retention and graduation rates, greater participation in campus life, and alumni eager to give back both time and financial support. The Fraternity & Sorority Coalition Assessment Project enabled us to take a comprehensive and objective look at how we were doing. Assessment project staff expressed great interest in visiting our urban, commuter campus and were most accommodating in helping with pre-visit preparations. Our assessment team, led by Jennifer Jones-Hall, worked around the clock for two and a half days to ensure all constituents were heard.
The end result? We received an insightful and comprehensive report with a set of recommendations that will lead to a stronger, healthier, and more robust Greek system on the University of Michigan-Flint campus. Many thanks to the Fraternity and Sorority Coalition Assessment Project for making this possible!"
