  • Andy Huston named NIC’s Director of Member Services

    Andrew J. “Andy” Huston has been named Director of Member Services for the North-American Interfraternity Conference (NIC).  “Andy’s  background is an ideal fit for this role,” said Peter D. Smithhisler, NIC President and CEO.  Huston is a 2004 graduate of the University of Minnesota, having earned a B.A. degree in political science with a minor in communication studies.  While at Minnesota, he became a member of Sigma Alpha Mu Fraternity.

  • Fraternity/Sorority Leaders Prepared to Make an IMPACT

    Twelve colleges and universities around the U.S. hosted an IMPACT Greek Leadership Institute in 2009-10 for student leaders of the fraternity/sorority community on their campus. An intense two-and-a-half-day living/learning experience, IMPACT involves fraternity/sorority professionals, working as facilitators with as many as 80 students.
