The NIC is seeking qualified volunteers to serve as Regional Advocates for Interfraternity Councils. Regional Advocates will assist NIC staff with:
- Local advocacy;
- Identifying and communicate impending IFC and/or host institution critical issues and trends to NIC staff;
- Addressing questions regarding NIC Standards and policies; and
- Serving as boots-on-the-ground support, when needed.
Regional Advocates will be recruited and selected from experienced alumni of NIC Member Fraternities, such as former headquarters staff, board members, volunteers, and veteran campus-based professionals. Interested candidates and nominations can be directed to Jameson Root, Director of Student Affairs, at Root@NICindy.org.
Projected time commitment will be 4-6 hours per month.
