Interfraternity Council® Affiliation
INTERFRATERNITY COUNCILS® (IFC®) exist where two or more NIC member fraternities exist on a campus. This affiliation with the NIC provides direct resources and services to IFC Officers and IFC Advisors to further the health and success of their respective fraternity communities. Chartered IFCs receive resources and services throughout the academic year, as well as significant discounts on IFC merchandise and NIC educational programming registrations.
To become Chartered, an IFC must submit both of the following:
- Annual IFC Chartering Fee: the Chartering Fee is based on the number of chapters/colonies currently in the IFC. Chartering Fees are due each year during the fall semester/quarter and can be submitted by mail or by contacting the NIC Office Manager, Shelley Meltzer, by phone (317-872-1112) or email (firstname.lastname@example.org).
- IFC Chartering Form: the form requests information such as the IFC officer roster, up-to-date academic and recruitment information, and a copy of the IFC governing policies.
