Institute for Greek Advancement
The Institute for Greek Advancement was founded in 2003 as a resource to professionals in the men's and women's fraternity foundations. It is affiliated with the North-American Interfraternity Conference (NIC) and is an activity of the NIC Foundation (NICF). The IGA qualifies for continuing education credits toward keeping or achieving CFRE certification.
The 2012 Institute will be January 24-27 in Los Cabos, Mexico, bringing together foundation leaders, vendor partners and successful non-profit experts to share ideas, learn from one another, and promote the work and impact of fraternal foundations. Past Keynote Speakers include Murray Blackwelder, VP of Advancement at Purdue University; Bill Sturtevant, Senior Vice President of the University of Illionis Foundation; Gerald Jackubowski, President of Rose Hulman University; Dave Bahlmann, VP of Development at Ball State University; Mark Helmus, VP for Advancement at Butler University; Kay Sprinkel Grace; and, Penelope Burk.
Priority for invitations go to fraternal foundations that are NIC Foundation members and attend THE Foundations Seminar in Indianapolis, as well as NICF GOLD & SILVER Alliance vendor partners.
