The NIC staff receives frequent inquires regarding how a school can go about “opening” their campus for expansion. We’re happy to help!
The NIC doesn't have a formal process of expansion/extension like the National Panhellenic Conference, rather we work with campuses to be continuously open for expansion. The NIC Standards call for member fraternity support of Open Expansion as part of their organizational requirements. It is through the advancement of the Standards that we work with campuses to ensure their support of Open Expansion policies. To view all of the NIC Standards, click here.
