NIC Resolution
Resolution on the Annual Meeting
BE IT RESOLVED, that in accordance with the North-American Interfraternity Conference constitution, the House of Delegates directs the Board of Directors of the NIC to immediately implement a meeting format for the annual meetings of the North-American Interfraternity Conference and the Association of Fraternity Advisors providing for two consecutive days of exclusive programming for the House of Delegates.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that appropriate staff members and volunteers of member fraternities of the Conference are encouraged to continue their attendance and participation in the meeting programming of the Association of Fraternity Advisors that will follow the conclusion of the programming mentioned above.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the House of Delegates directs the Board of Directors to work closely with the leadership of the AFA to exercise its option to review, if necessary, to adjust current hotel contracts for future meetings to provide for a format consistent with the model presented above.
This resolution was approved by the NIC House of Delegates in December 1999.
