Zeta Psi Chapter at Nebraska Wesleyan University Receives Top Award
The Omicron Chapter of Zeta Psi International Fraternity located on the campus of Nebraska Wesleyan University is being recognized by the North-American Interfraternity Conference (NIC) with the Award of Distinction. One of only three chapters in the United States to receive this prestigious recognition, the chapter will be presented the award at their Founders Banquet in Lincoln, Nebraska on April 5, 2003.
The chapter was selected from a very competitive pool of nominations. Of particular distinction was the chapter's consistency of excellence throughout is history. The Omicron chapter has been recognized by its national organization with the top chapter designation for ten out of the last 12 years.
The chapter was highly touted in its many nomination and recommendation letters. Zeta Psi Executive Director Richard Breeswine called the chapter "the benchmark of other chapter's success." The chapter's nomination was also supported by Nebraska Wesleyan University President Jeanie Watson. President Watson commented on the "rich source of student leadership" that the chapter offers the school. She continued, "this is a group with a long a strong tradition of involvement on our campus, and I believe that they deserve to be recognized for that effort."
